We watched it on my whim, and it was surprisingly good. Not a documentary, it is about one man's life, based on a book by the same name. Cuba Gooding, Jr. does a good job, and the others are good enough to make the film work. This is not a Christian movie, but Ben Carson became (some sort of) a devout Christian, and the director let this fact come through plenty. The film was a clean, fun look at how an inspiring man got to be who is today and a little bit of what he has done as a surgeon. No foul language, no sex or sensuality, only some isolated violence.
