Wesley's Field Trip to American Airlines Center

I got to chaperone Wesley's TAG group on a field trip to American Airlines Center and Reunion Tower. We got to tour the whole stadium and visit all of the fancy rental suites and such. We didn't go into locker rooms, but did get to stand outside the big office of Mark Cuban.

Curtis' 8th Birthday Party!

Curtis 8th birthday party was at the city pool again, like last year. He loves having swim parties, but having a birthday in November limits your swimming options! He chose Minecraft, so we had lots of fun goodies that looked like the food, etc from the game.

I love watching Curtis have such fun with his buddies. He had a great mixture of school and church friends. Another great pool party in the books! We love you, Curtis T!!

Halloween 2017

This year Wesley was a mad scientist, Curtis was Minecraft Steve, and Evie was a lion!

We went to our church's Trunk or Treat for games, horseback riding, mechanical bull riding, and a maze. Every time we tried putting Evie in the lion suit before this evening, she cried and was scared. We didn't put it on her until we got to the church building, and she loved it all of a sudden! Yay!

 Grandparents' Day/50's Day

No grandparents were in attendance for this day, so I stood in. Wesley had created a cute acrostic for Gin-Gin. Curtis sure was a cute little 50's dude with greased hair. Wesley didn't want to dress up, but his hair is always awesome!

School Run 2017

Wesley was an "ambassador" during his 5th grade year. Some duties of ambassadors throughout the 5th grade year include doing the announcements, giving tours to parents interested in enrolling their kids at the school, and speaking at the school run assembly. Wesley was in charge of giving the description of the "Integrity Ring" at the school and then hanging the ring. He did a great job in front of the whole school and many parents!
