Going to the Zoo

We went to the zoo last Tuesday! It was a great day to go since it was the last weekday before school was out for most ISD's in our area. There were no lines or crowds, and the weather wasn't too bad either!

This gorilla was quite accommodating for our picture.
(He also put on quite a booty show for us through that glass!)

The boys were VERY excited to ride the Yellow Rose of Texas
train to the back of the zoo. Well worth the extra $6.

They had a cute little 'bubble' that jutted
out into the water for kids to get a better view
 of the animals. Wesley loved it, but Curtis
didn't seem to trust it.

Once we got to our car, This is how we found the boys.

Afterward, we ate some yummy burgers at Dutch's and then headed home for proper naps. Great day!

A Smattering of Phone Pics

Our city's rec center had a program for 3-5 year olds during the month of March. We chose the session that worked on basketball and hockey skills for Wesley. It was four sessions, but Wesley missed the second basketball session due to a stomach bug. He really loved going to 'basketball camp' and 'hockey camp.' These are phone pictures again that were taken from the track over the gym, so they're not so great.

Wesley's Graduation

Wesley's preschool had a little ceremony for the "graduating" pre-kindergarteners along with some cute performances by some of the other classes. These graduations are pretty silly if you ask me, but you do have to admit they look pretty darn cute in those caps and gowns. Most of these pictures are pretty bad. I took some with my phone because the camera was not doing so hot (on the wrong setting I later found out).

Curtis really got into the spirit when everyone else would clap.
