We took a quick trip to see Golly and Granddad right before school started. Sadie and Wesley both have August birthdays, so we got together to celebrate. We only stayed one night, but the kids got lots of great play time in together. Wesley and Curtis had been longing to play with Daddy's old Legos, and they got to play to their heart's content. Sadie even seemed to enjoy it! Micah thinks it is fun to undo the latest creation. :)
We had a late lunch on Saturday followed by cake and celebration. We got to enjoy Kevin's famous cookie cake that Sadie requested. Mary Ann made a good strawberry cake as well.
