Cousin Week!

At the end of April our boys got to spend time with two sets of cousins in one week! Laura's cousin Erin and her family were in Texas for Nate's work, and they took the time to drive an extra half hour to have lunch with us! They drove a 15 passenger van from work, so we all fit in to go for lunch. We even got Wesley out of school for the event!

Two days later, we had Kevin, Sara, Sadie and Micah over and used our new grill for the first time! Misha and Gin-Gin bought us a grill at Christmas, and we had a beautiful day in April to try it out. Kevin is quite experienced with grills, so he helped John Mark learn the basics. We had hamburgers, hot dogs, sweet potato fries, and bottled sodas. Then the kids and Kevin played some sort of keep-away game for a long while.

After playing outside, everyone got baths and pj's put on. Sadie read the
boys a book, and then they went home.

We had a fun evening, and of course are still loving having family close enough for get-togethers! We also got to FaceTime with Mavry and Eliel the next day to round out cousin week.
