Curtis told us in the spring of 2016 that he wanted to have a swimming party at the local recreational center. Since it is indoor, it worked out great for a fall birthday party. We had some fun guests that don't usually get to come to parties -- Colin and Lela's family! They were here for Audra and Mario's wedding celebration (next up on the blog), so it worked out perfectly. Misha and GinGin also came! Curtis wanted a Star Wars party, as has become the norm for our boys. He specifically wanted an R2-D2 cake. He got to invite 5 of his friends, plus his cousins Mavry and Eliel! One friend was sick and couldn't make it, but her dad still brought a gift which was very thoughtful. We had pizza, fruit, juice, and cake.

It was a fun celebration of our wonderful 7 year old. He has already notified us that his next birthday party will also be at the pool. :) We love you, Curtis T. You keep us laughing and joyful!
