All of the 4th graders went on an overnight field trip to Austin and San Antonio on December 1-2. John Mark went with Wesley so they could room with Wesley's best buddy Grant and his dad. They stopped in Waco to visit the Texas Ranger Museum first thing in the morning. Then they headed to Austin to visit the capitol and got to meet Lt. Governor Dan Patrick unexpectedly! They reached their final destination of San Antonio in the evening in time to enjoy the River Walk tour, and then toured the Alamo and Mission San Jose the next morning.
