Just a couple of days after we got Evie, Curtis had a kindergarten field trip to Mainstay Farms. I was signed up to go already, so I left John Mark with Evie for most of the day. They did fine, of course. The farm is a fun place for kids, they have a huge wooden playground, several mazes to walk through, big stacks of hay bales to climb, and a huge sand area for digging. They also get to go on a hay ride where they get a tour of the farm and learn about farmy things.

I really enjoyed doing this trip with Wesley when he was in kindergarten, and it was just as great with Curtis!
