Like many other families, our Halloween was Star Wars themed this year. Wesley was Darth Vader and Curtis wanted to be Luke Skywalker in his X-Wing Pilot orange jump suit. When Evie surprised us with her arrival five days before Halloween, the obvious answer for her costume was Princess Leia. Her costume was a little gown my mom gave me from my babyhood, a belt from a swatch of leftover fabric from making her curtains, and a hat with bulky yarn shaped into buns. She looked so cute. :)

While we were out taking pictures, our neighbors came by to find out whose baby John Mark was holding!

We first went to our church's Trunk or Treat to play games and get way too much candy.

After Trunk or Treat, Evie and I came home to warm up while JM took the boys around to a few neighborhood houses, and then they passed out a little candy from the porch. Fun night, but very different than last year toting a baby around!
