We had such a fun July 4th this year! First off, Curtis got to participate in the city parade with his Cub Scout buddies. Both boys have gotten to be in parades now! The cub Scout float was derby car themed since they build and race their own every year. Wesley, Evie and I found a shady spot downtown to watch while John Mark got Curtis to the right place and made sure he got picked up at the end.

Later in the afternoon, we joined our friends Chris and Kendra at Steve and Teri's house for swimming and food! We had such a nice time with our friends and their kids. We swam for hours and had burgers and hot dogs. We are blessed by these great people!

Evie was done at the end of this day of fun, so she and I stayed home while the guys went to watch the fireworks show. What a full, happy day!
