At the beginning of June, we were invited to the Children's Art and Literacy Festival (CALF) by Misha and GinGin. It was three days of live readings, shows, May Farm Petting Zoo, an instrument petting zoo (a first for me), crafts, food trucks, etc in downtown Abilene. The featured illustrator this year was Garth Williams who illustrated many books, most notably Charlotte's Web. We attended two of the three days, and attended every live reading and several shows. All three kids really enjoyed it.
