May was full of fun outside of school activities, too! The weather was perfect most days, nice and sunny in the 80's and low 90's. The boys wanted to run in the sprinklers one day, even though it wasn't really that hot. They had a good time, but Evie wasn't so sure about being wet and cold.

While Evie finished up her nap one day, John Mark took the boys to the Police Station Open House. They got to sit in the back of a police car, explore an armored vehicle from the SWAT team, and have free hot dogs and popcorn. They loved it.

When Evie woke up, we played a little dress up. :)

All three kids had plenty of time on the trampoline during this month of nice weather. When Evie is on, the boys aren't allowed to jump, so they just roll around together and have a grand time.

Curtis had his Cub Scout crossing over from Tiger to Wolf!

We bought POGO passes for the summer which gives us entry to many different attractions around DFW for the year. The boys chose Pump It Up as our first visit. We went on a Friday when they didn't have school and basically had the place to ourselves. Love it when that happens.

At the very end of May, John Mark's Uncle Charles came by for a visit and passed down some family history. Granddad and Golly came down for the visit as well. Some fun stories were shared and Wesley and Curtis were genuinely interested in the pictures and maps Charles brought. He also brought some old army man toys that he and Clint used to play with. The boys loved playing with them "gently" and Uncle Charles passed them down to them! We had a nice dinner at Babe's before everyone parted ways.

While waiting to get the boys from school one day, Evie packed up her truck bed with sticks, rocks, balls, etc. and then waved bye to me before loading up for her journey.
