National Video Game Museum, Sci-Tech Discovery Center, and Kid Mania

We packed in three of our POGO pass venues in one Tuesday during July: The National Video Game Museum (did not know this existed), Sci-Tech Discovery Center, and Kid Mania. We didn't know what to expect at any of them, but they are all in the same general vicinity, so we thought we should get them all in since they are over an hour away from us. The Video Game Museum was surprisingly neat -- even for me! They had every video game system from the past you can imagine. Wesley loves coding, so he especially loved seeing how game systems had progressed through the years. Both boys loved getting to play all sorts of games on old systems.

The POGO pass for this museum included some tokens to play in an old arcade at the end. They had 80's music blaring as you played out of date games in a dark room. It really took you back to a different time!

Duck Hunt was Curtis' favorite! They had it set up in a typical 80's bedroom
environment which was fun. 

The Sci-Tech Discovery Center was in the same building as the Video Game Museum. It was small and pretty simple, but we were there on an uncrowded day, so it was enjoyable. Evie was pretty tired at this point, so we didn't stay too long.

Wesley would hit the back of the bucket (which had
rubber stretched across it) to send enough
air current to knock over the plastic cups.

Sleepy Evie

Magnetized goo. Wesley loved this and tried to get
other kids around to appreciate how cool it was!

This fun employee showed the boys how to make
bubble tubes to surround them. 

We got to eat lunch at Penn Station!! My favorite sandwich place from
Kentucky!

After lunch we went to our last POGO stop: Kid Mania. The boys got very hot and sweaty running around in this huge indoor multi-level playground. A great way to burn energy at the end of a fun day!
