We made the trek out to Lubbock twice in July, once at the very beginning and once at the very end. We visited Uncle Stan and Aunt Carol for a bit for the first trip. We happened to come the day after Uncle Stan got home from the hospital. We thought he would have at least one more day in the hospital, but they were gracious to welcome us in their home when they were just getting resettled themselves. The boys got to steer once we were on the dirt roads. Wesley drove us in, and Curtis drove us out. Misha came as well and provided a barbecue lunch. After lunch and a fun game of slapjack with Uncle Stan, we headed out.
Matt and Tracey's Wedding
Matt and Tracey got married on July 30th! They had the ceremony at the gazebo outside the courthouse in Levelland, and then John and Marla hosted a wonderful reception at their house with yummy food and cake. (The cake was made by Tracey!)

We are so happy for Matt and Tracey! We loved getting to celebrate with them.
